Easter 2015
Dear Project Chacocente Family,
We thank you all for your prayers, presence, gifts and service on behalf of Project Chacocente. Knit together by the love of God, we are the Chacocente “family” of Spirit-filled people, eager to please Him in whom we live and move and have our being. God continues to call each of us, together with our sisters and brothers in Nicaragua, to delight in and fulfill His purposes. The opportunities are many, the possibilities infinite!
This Easter we may have hidden some eggs that weren’t found; some may be lost forever. The bright colors will fade; the contents will lose their freshness, even spoil. But our future is protected and secured by God who loses nothing, who is able to make all things new and fresh and fruitful. Our hope is not wishful thinking about a better day. Because of Christ, we have a confidence that cannot be denied. He is risen! Jesus said, My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. By Faith we will live and shine and go forward. By our love the world will know we are Christians.

This year we have been delighted to watch “resurrection moments” unfold at Project Chacocente, in our ever-growing Chacocente Christian School and as we have improved the living conditions for our dedicated teachers by working alongside them to renovate or build their homes.
It is by God’s grace, working through your prayers, presence, gifts and service that these “resurrection moments” continue to happen!
